The Brooklyn-based band Cubic Zirconia has just joined the LuckyMe family. The Scottish crew made the decision a few months ago, after falling in love with a performance by the New York trio at this year’s SXSW. However, we assume that in order not to eclipse the band’s plans for the near future (their EP for Don't Cry, for example), the Glaswegians have preferred to remain silent until now. The band, led by the sensual Tiombe Lockhart, have finished the recording of what will be their debut album for LuckyMe, scheduled for release on 11th January. So far we know the album is entitled “Follow Your Heart”, and that among the guests present on the album are Dâm-Funk, Bilal and Drop The Lime. Remember that before that release, there’ll be a 12” through Night Slugs featuring the remix Ikonika made for the band’s most recent single “Hoes Come Out At Night”, plus a new song signed jointly by Bok Bok and Nick Hook, one of the three legs of Cubic Zirconia. The family is growing.
