Chris Taylor (Grizzly Bear) announces solo album

Maybe you’ll remember that in the middle of “Veckatimest” (Warp, 2009) fever, Chris Taylor (the blond-haired member of Grizzly Bear, with the boyish looks) made his solo debut under the moniker CANT with the single “Ghost”, on his own label Terrible Records. A few months ago, Taylor dusted off the alias to start a charity project alongside Solange Knowles and Twin Shadow. The latter has now helped CANT record his debut album, “Dreams Come True”, out on 12th September worldwide via Warp, and 13th September in the U.S. through Terrible Records. The new collaboration shouldn’t come as a surprise, as Taylor already produced and edited the album by George Lewis Jr. (aka Twin Shadow). To the right of this article you’ll find the tracklist of the album, but we don’t see “Ghost” there. Remember as well that Grizzly Bear are currently recording their new album. Will we have a double bear whammy this year? Fingers crossed.
