We had more than one reason to believe Bloc Party was coming to an end. Kele Okereke released his solo album last year and in May, and bassist Gordon Moakes will see the release of his new band Y oung Legionnaire’s debut LP. But it couldn’t be further from the truth. Guitarist Russell Lissack has told NME that the band will be returning to the studio soon. "Kele and I started working on Bloc Party stuff together and separately," he said. "We're having a bit of a break until the festivals are over, because people have commitments during the summer, but we're going to get back properly in September and sit in a rehearsal studio to work on new band material." Now they should try to recover the sound of their first album “Silent Alarm” (Wichita, 2005), which brought us so much joy.
