Mike D, MCA and Ad-Rock have taken the Easter week to work some more on the projects they have been keeping themselves busy with over the past few years. They started with offering us the full version of “Fight for Your Right Revisited”, the 30-minute film directed by Adam Yauch as an “appendix” to the mythical video for “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!)”. Then they premiered another new track, “Say It”, only to end the week with a curious streaming of their much-awaited new album “Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2”. In a gesture that can only be interpreted as a nod to their roots and a sarcastic comment on the new forms of music consumption, Beastie Boys decided to place an old ghetto blaster in the middle of Madison Square Garden, with two microphones in front of the radio-cassette player’s speakers, to offer us the listening to their new effort. Both the 30-minute short film and the streaming of “Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2” await you after the jump. Remember that the album will be out on 3rd May via Capitol.
