Andy Stott Passed Me By

Five years after the excellent “Merciless” (Modern Love, 2006), deep techno dweller Andy Stott returns with a new album, “Passed Me By”. The Mancunian’s new effort contains 7 tracks produced over the past 12 months and influenced by, according to the press note, such different artists as Jamal Moss, Arthur Russell, Kassem Mosse and James Ferraro. The result promises to be dark and abyssal, oppressive and gaunt, with the Briton attempting to broaden his horizon without losing his master touch as a beatsmith of the deepest techno around. The record will be out on 16th May on double LP, on Modern Love.
