100% Silk, one of the most exciting emerging dance music labels of the moment (for starters, it was considered the second best label of 2011 by the PlayGround staff), have started a new audiovisual project. Now that the platform is embarking on a European tour - taking them to places like Berlin, Brussels, Paris, London, Sónar 2012 and, this very weekend, ECO – Encuentro de Nuevos Sonidos in Madrid - they want to document their passage through the different venues, with four of their key producers playing, LA Vampires, Ital, Magic Touch and Maria Minerva. The documentary doesn't only aim to show the gigs, but also portray the cultural atmospheres they're going to experience.
Benjamín Shearn, a director who has been closely linked to the label for two years, will be filming everything. However, in order to be able to do the job properly, they need your financial help - which is why 100% Silk have started a campaign on Indie Gogo to raise at least 3,500 US dollars. As usual, depending on what you contribute, you will be compensated in different ways: you can get a DVD copy of the documentary, home-made mixtapes, vinyl records, autographed posters and even the possibility to collaborate as a producer.
