MTV VMA Nominations Announced

Rihanna, Drake, M.I.A., and Frank Ocean, among others

The MTV Music Awards 2012 campaign has started. Yesterday, the nominations for the awards, which will be given on 6th September at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, were officially announced. You can check the nominees in each category and vote for your favourites by following this link. There you'll find people like Rihanna and Drake (both nominated for five awards), M.I.A. (in the Video of the Year category, for the Romain Gavras-directed “Bad Girls”, which is also competing for Best Cinematography and Best Direction), Lana Del Rey (two awards for the Yoann Lemoine-directed “Born To Die”), Jack White, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, and Frank Ocean, nominated for Best New Artist, among other things.
