Apple Is Developing A New Audio Format For Adaptive Streaming

The measure would upgrade iTunes Match

Computer giant Apple continues to take measures to improve its costumers' musical experience. According to The Guardian, the brand is working on a new HD audio streaming format that will have the ability to adapt to the bandwidth and storage the user has at their disposal. This way iTunes Match, Apple’s cloud service, would also be improved, as currently, except for Mac machines and Apple TV, iOS-compatible devices have to download a song before playing it, instead of streaming it directly.

At present it's unclear when this new feature will be announced, although word has it Apple will do so at the official presentation of the third generation iPad on 7th March.
