Remember this? On the eve of the celebration of the last edition of Coachella, the festival organisation confirmed that Interpol’s performance would be special one. The band hooked up with The Creators Project, filmmaker David Lynch, Andi Watson, HPX and Wieden & Kennedy to create a multimedia experience called “Interpol Under Surveillance”. The event included a screening of “I Touch A Red Button Man”, an animated film made by David Lynch for the song “Lights”. Though it may seem like a normal video at first, it’s actually much more than that. According to the band, “I Touch A Red Button Man” was born out of their second meeting with Lynch in Los Angeles and is the re-creation of a disturbing man obsessed with red flashes. After its premiere at Coachella, the video has now appeared online. Watch it below.
