Shitkatapult is a German label founded in 1998 by Marco Haas (T.Raumschmiere). Since 2000, Sascha Ring (Apparat) has also been at the helm. They work out of Berlin and are specialised in electronic music (IDM and techno). Their sound has been experimental from the start, and goes from ambient and minimal to drum'n'bass and electro. Their first releases were two volumes of the compilation “The Cozmick Suckerz”, released in 1999. Later on, they released the works of Static Loung, Sami Koivikko, Anders Ilar, Das Bierbeben, Sid Le Rock Hakan Lidbo and Phon.O, among others. They also released Apparat's acclaimed albums “Duplex” (2003) and “Walls” (2007), and “Komet” (2011) by Frank Bretschneider.
