Paw Tracks is a label associated with Carpark Records, founded in 2003 as a vehicle for Animal Collective and their different projects. Most of the label's forty references are theirs, but they have been releasing other artists' work since a year after they started (all of them hand-picked by Noah Lennox & co.) – for example they reissued some cassettes by Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti. Thanks to the label, the world has discovered several experimental and lo-fi artists, including Eric Copeland and Rings, the project by Avey Tare's sister with Kate Rosko and Nina Mehta, and one of their latest signings, Dent May. Their biggest release so far has been Panda Bear's “Person Pitch”.
