Odd Future Records is the record division of LA hip-hop collective OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All). The label was founded in 2011, when the group signed a distribution deal with RED Distribution, property of Sony. Until then, the group members had uploaded their efforts to their website as free downloads. The imprint was founded to release the material of the group and its individual members. Their first reference was the compilation “12 Odd Future Songs”, exclusively on digital and via iTunes. In December 2011, their first physical record came out, the debut album by The Internet, “Purple Naked Ladies”. In January 2012, the group announced they would upload the second volume of their mixtape “The Odd Future Tape” in March. Other likely releases on the label are “Wolf”, the third album by Tyler, The Creator, and “Numbers”, MellowHype's third LP.
