As every fan of Mujeres (Spanish for “women”) knows only too well, there are no women in the band. They’re boys, all with hair on their chest and a pertinent obsession with dirty garage rock. The Barcelonese have quickly gained a good spot on the city’s live circuit with their surf, punk and all things dirty inspired songs. When Tarantino hears them, he’ll be a fan for life. We’ll see them at San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011 as well, but before that we visited their rehearsal studio so they could play us a ditty.
