On 28th May, EMI is releasing Sigur Rós' new album “Valtari”, a collection of tracks defined by bassist Georg Hólm as ambient, minimal, introverted and floating - which is a fitting description of “Ekki Múkk”, its precious first advance track. When the record's out, the Icelandic band will start their world tour, after four years of stage inactivity. Sigur Rós have just announced the first twenty dates on both sides of the Atlantic, kicking off in Philadelphia on 30th July and finishing mid-September at the Sacrum Profanum Festival in Krakow.
