Joanna Newsom And Philip Glass Play Together In San Francisco | Music News

If you're in San Francisco on 25th June, you cannot miss this: reputed composer Philip Glass, Joanna Newsom and violinist Tim Fain will join forces on stage for a special performance as part of Glass’ Days And Nights Festival at The Warfield Theatre; the money raised will be used to start a fund for the reconstruction of the Henry Miller Memorial Library in Big Sur, CA. The repertoire will consist of material by both Glass and Newsom, but they will also play new compositions, written by the three musicians together. Here's hoping that material will be released one day.
