For some reason, next week the indie world will be rocked by an endless string of important releases. We've shared the streamings of (almost) all of them, but until today, we hadn't received the streaming of the debut album by CANT, alias Chris Taylor, the blond cherub from Grizzly Bear. “Dreams Come True” will be out on the 12th of September, via Terrible and Warp, so you have this weekend to listen to it and decide if you want to buy it. We already like the first advance track, “Answer”, a song that indicated an inclination towards the sound of Caribou, something that seems to extend to other tracks as well. But there are also some pieces, such as the title track, which are reminiscent of Radiohead's “Bodysnatchers”. However, what surprised us the most is that George Lewis Jr. (Twin Shadow) is more prominently present than we expected. Wasn't this Taylor's solo debut? Either way, we applaud his contribution.
