Spiritualized's seventh album is a new ode to life by Jason Pierce, who looked death in the eyes in 2005, when a pneumonia almost ended his existence on this planet. The sixty minutes of “Sweet Heart Sweet Light” are a serenade to the present, and an expression of gratitude to the higher being (“So Long You Pretty Thing”, featuring vocals by his 11-year old daughter) that saved his life. The album is due out on 16th April on Domino Records subsidiary Double Six and Fat Possum, but you can already stream it entirely, thanks to the good people of 3voor12.
