Better late than never. Coinciding with today's release of “Words And Music By Saint Etienne”, Universal and NPR bring you the online stream of Saint Etienne's new album. And after a first spin, it's clear that the band have used the seven years of silence well, giving the fans a piece that makes the wait worthwhile. As they told us a few months ago, it's a concept album about the different ways to feel and experience music, and right from the start, on “Over The Border”, Sarah Cracknell talks about her musical experiences as a child. Of course there's room for floor fillers, such as “I’ve Got Your Music”, “Tonight” and “DJ”, to name but a few. The rest you'll have to find out on your own.
