The wait seemed like an eternity, but Passsion Pit are finally coming out with the follow-up to “Manners” (Frenchkiss, 2009), the album that made them the new heroes of synth-pop. On this “Gossamer”, the band sound as recognisable as ever. There are some potential anthems, such as “I’ll Be Alright”, and the already known “Take A Walk”, and even some melodramatic R&B, like “Constant Conversations”. The record's due out on 24th July, but thanks to NPR you can already stream it online.
