Three days ago, there was an attempt at streaming “LP” by Hippos In Tanks, but it got stuck in some kind of coitus interruptus. Today, however, it's final: we can listen to all of d'Eon's new album. As suggested by advance tracks like “Al-Qiyamah” and “Now You Do”, it's a floating record, constructed with airy textures. Songs that combine electronic pop and R&B with a variety of danceable rhythms, from the drum&bass breaks of “Signals Intelligence” to the syncopated rattling of “Now You Do” and “Transparency pt. IV”, alongside the cosmic excursions of “I Look Into The Internet”.
The album is out now on digital, the vinyl version will be released on 25th June.
