“Iradelphic”, the new album by electronic wizard Clark, will be out on 2nd April via Warp. However, it can already be streamed in its entirety, as of today. Just like the first advance tracks indicated, the Briton shows the smoothest side of his sound on this record. Pastoral melodies, acoustic guitars, vocals by Marina Topley-Bird and Clark himself, pinches of pop and exotic moods are mixed on some compositions that shine with an eerie kind of light. It’s reminiscent of the sci-fi vibe on certain 70s records, only in a digital context. An evocative piece of work and a step forward that confirms - once again - that we're dealing with one of the most gifted contemporary British electronic producers. Listen after the jump.
