Zachary Cole Smith, guitarist of Beach Fossils, has his solo debut full-length as DIIV, the project formerly known as Dive, ready to go. Thanks to Captured Tracks and The Hype Machine, we can listen to the album, entitled “Oshin”, online. As indicated on his previous singles and advance tracks, the New Yorker navigates through the same waters as his main band: spirited indie guitar pop with a distinct late-80s, early-90s feel. New jangle pieces for the best imaginable start of the summer, due out on 26th June.
