The press release of “Mr. Impossible”, the new album by the unclassifiable Black Dice, says the record sounds like a “substance-fueled basement party on Mars.” They're not wrong. On their first effort in three years, the Brooklyn explorers present a new evolution in the their always mutating sound, once again based on dysfunctional electronic source, but with a more important role for the more or less conventional rhythms. Is it Black Dice's dance album? Probably. Loony dance, but dance after all. The release date is set at 9th April, on Ribbon Music. Listen to it after the jump.
