Melt! Festival Announces The First Names | Music News

Festivals all over the world have started to reveal their bills, and the German Melt! Festival is no exception. The upcoming edition of the event, a favourite among musicians and festival goers worldwide, will be held from 13th to 15th July in the area of Gräfenhainichen (a small town near Dessau, in the region of Saxony-Anhalt). There, on a small peninsula in a lake, lies “the city of iron” - Ferropolis, an open-air museum that lies on the European Route of Industrial Heritage and where huge industrial machines from the last century are kept. Among the first names confirmed for the festival are giants like Bloc Party, who will be performing together again after Kele Okereke's solo adventures. There will also be room for the epic synthetic pop of M83, the organic funk of The Whitest Boy Alive, the ever-growing Caribou alongside enfants terribles Justice.

There are still many names to come, but you can already get your tickets here.
