Ronni Vindahl, founding member of neo-soul combo Boom Clap Bachelors, will release his solo debut album, “Serendipity”, on the 17th of October via Tokyo Dawn Records. The man from Copenhagen shows his more poppy side on it, delivering 15 vibrant compositions varnished with a mix of organic and synthetic instrumentation and all kinds of electronic arrangements. Regarding his influences - apart from Talking Heads, Prince and Trevor Horn quoted by the label - there's some boogie-disco and R&B on some of the tracks. The album, which Vindahl has worked on for four years, features vocal collaborations with Jenny Wilson and Coco from Danish duo Quadron. There's also a Boom Clap Bachelors remix as a bonus track.
