After his space-prog-rock excursions on “d'Demonstrator” (Warp, 2010) and the jazz improvisations of “Solo Electric Bass 1” (Warp, 2009), hyperactive Squarepusher returns to “pure electronic music” with “Ufabulum”. The album will be released on 14th May on Warp and, though no further details have been given, Tom Jenkinson himself has said that it's going to be a “very melodic, very aggressive” affair. The album will be presented with a new live show featuring (judging from the 14-second teaser) lots of bass and flashing lights. More details as they come in.
