Silent Servant Makes His Full-Length Debut

“Negative Fascination” will be out in September on Hospital Productions

Silent Servant Makes His Full-Length Debut | Music News

When we learned about the (partial) hiatus of Sandwell District earlier this year, we didn't know where the label flagships would continue their trajectory. In the case of Juan Mendez, alias Silent Servant, now we do: it will be on Hospital Productions, the imprint run by Dominick Fernow (Prurient, Vatican Shadow, Cold Cave), with his first album. “Negative Fascination”, according to the label, goes deep into Mendez' trademark fusion of primitive post-punk, monolithic techno, and industrial music. The record, executively produced by Regis, is slated for release on 10th September, in a limited edition of 1000 copies and an extra 12” with extended versions of three of the album tracks. By lack of audio, we leave you with the tracklist and intimidating artwork.
