After making his debut last year with “The Destroyer EP”, Justin Hopkins - a.k.a. RareBit, beatmaker from the Los Angeles scene - is now ready to release his first album, “Daizo”. According to Hopkins, the record is a tribute to his ancestors who lived during The Great Depression, taking the title from his grandfather's name. The sonic translation of these historical-emotional parameters results in an album that oscillates between electronic beat experimentation, lysergic funk and free jazz, with a fickle and disjointed sound, that’s often psychedelic. The LP will be out on 28th February on Non Projects with artwork designed by Hopkins himself.
