After kicking off this year with “The Palm Wine Drinkard", Kool A.D. from Das Racist has his second solo mixtape ready. It's called “51” and it will be out on 24th April on Mishka/Greedhead. Produced mostly in Oakland, the “featuring” section holds a good fistful of new wave West Coast rappers, such as Oakland duo Main Attrakionz, Boots Riley from The Coup and emerging beatmaker Trackademicks. And, of course, his Das Racist buddy Heems. The first single taken from the release was produced by The Pack's Young L, and as far as we can tell, this mixtape features a more recognisable sound than its predecessor.
