After releasing his album “Nothing Else” on Brainfeeder, American producer Marcos Ortega, a.k.a. Lorn, has joined the ranks of Ninja Tune for his upcoming LP. The record's called “Ask The Dusk” (named after the novel by John Fante) and, as Lorn says himself, sounds much more “haunted, oily, smeared” than its predecessor. A visceral immediacy that - according to the label - also benefits from Ortega's own voice; adding a new, human dimension to his sound. The album is slated for release on 18th June on vinyl, CD, download and limited edition reel-to-reel tape. Here we leave you with a brief teaser and the album tracklist.
