A month ago, Planet Mu announced that Rudi Zygadlo had his second album ready, and they gave us “Melpomene”, the advance track from said new LP. Mike Paradinas' label has just revealed some more details about the Scot's new full-length, like its tracklist (to the right of this article) and release date: 18th September. They have also revealed a thing or two about the creative process for "Tragicomedies"; for instance, the album was recorded when the producer was in Berlin. However, Zygadlo himself warns that the techno idiosyncrasy of the German capital was of no influence on the record, as he discovered that “Taking acid and listening to the Grosse Fuge [by Beethoven] is far more interesting than listening to contemporary dance music on drugs.”
In the meantime, let us remind you that the single “Melpomene” will be out on digital and vinyl on 2nd July, with “Arrows” on the B-side, and a remix of the title track by Paradinas himself, under his µ-Ziq moniker (exclusive to the digital release).
