Barcelona label Tracy Recordings brings us “Macaw EP”, Daniel Guijarro’s debut under the alias Headbirds (you will also recognise him as one-third of the combo C156, on the Disboot roster). In this introduction he approaches UK funky and future garage from a perspective dominated by tropical breezes. The result is 4 cuts with exuberant atmospheres and melodies with an exotic aftertaste, reflected in neon mirrors. The release is slated for the month of May.
