New Yorkers Grizzly Bear continue to unveil the details of their upcoming album on Warp, albeit slowly, without any promotional fuss. In early June, they gave us a release date, and they let us hear one song, the intense, minimal “Sleeping Ute” (hear it below). Today, they're revealing the album title and artwork. The LP will be called “Shields”, and its sleeve is a playing-card-style painting of a club inside a spade.
On the band's website you can already pre-order the record, due out on 17th September. There you can also check the first dates of their upcoming tour, which will bring them to Europe in October.
