EMI To Reissue Massive Attack's "Blue Lines"

The re-release won't feature any new tracks, but comes in a deluxe box set

EMI To Reissue Massive Attack's "Blue Lines" | Music News

While we're waiting for news about new material, Massive Attack have announced the reissue of their legendary "Blue Lines" album. Twenty-one years have gone by since the Bristol band released one of the most relevant albums in electronic music in the 90s, though time is of no importance when it comes to masterpieces like this, because it still sounds as fresh today as it did way back when. That's what the people at EMI must have thought when they decided to re-release "Blue Lines" on digital, CD and Deluxe Edition, on 20th November. The latter will be a box set holding the album on CD and double vinyl, a reproduction of the original album poster, and a DVD with the tracks in high resolution. The new edition boasts the same tracklist as the original, but the tracks have been remastered for the occasion.
