Two years after their charming, but irregular and flawed “Gemini” (Captured Tracks, 2012), Jack Tatum and his band of indie-pop craftsmen are returning with “Nocturne”, their second album, of which little more is known at the moment other than the release date: Bella Union will release it in Europe on 27th August, while Captured Tracks will do the same in the United States, only one day later. Surprisingly enough, the A-side of their most recent single, “Nowhere”, possibly their best and most lively song to date, won't be on it.
As a first single taken from the new LP, Wild Nothing are releasing the melancholic “Shadow”, which features a generous string section, a new addition to the band's sound. The song will be out on 7” on 26th June in North America and on 13th August in the UK.
