After the digression of "Home Recordings" (Second Language, 2010), a collection of home-recorded versions of some of their most acclaimed early tracks, Piano Magic are releasing their eleventh studio album. Entitled “Life Has Not Finished With Me Yet”, the LP will be out on 18th June via Second Language and Saint Marie. Glen Johnson's boys are going back to the translucent darkness and electronic garlands of works like “Low Birth Weight” (Rocket Girl, 1999) and “Artists Rifles” (Rocket Girl, 2000). The effort will be dominated by analogue synthesisers, grandiloquent reverberations and black-coloured baroque. Johnson and his gang have this time worked with a small chamber orchestra and with Josh Hight from Irons, who sings on “Judas”.
We leave you with the album tracklist, artwork and a first advance track called “The Slightest Of Threads”. Pre-order your copy of the record here.
