As we advanced a few weeks ago, Modeselektor are about to give us “Modeselektion Vol.2”, the second volume in their series of compilations. The album will arrive in July via Monkeytown Records and we already have the entire tracklist, as well as new audio advances. As the first information suggested, this time the duo combines its usual taste for expansive-sounding producers like Anstam, Addison Groove, Lazer Sword and Siriusmo with the experimental patina of names like Diamond Version (the new Alva Noto and Byetone project), Prefuse 73, Clark and Mouse On Mars. The release will arrive on a triple record, as well as on CD and digital download, and will be preceded by a 12” starring Martyn and Modeselektor themselves.
