A few hours ago, and without warning, Clams Casino shared the second chapter of his 'Instrumental Mixtape' series with the rest of the world. It's a collection of beats the New Jersey producer has made for the likes of A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, Mac Miller, Squadda B and Lil B, plus some instrumental versions of his remixes of “Amor Fati” by Washed Out and “Born To Die” by Lana Del Rey. You know the recipe: swarms of heavenly voices, bottomless synth waves and beats on the verge of distortion. The effect is, as usual, intoxicating. Because, although “Instrumental Mixtape 2” isn't as surprising as the first volume (after all, that was one of the seeds of cloud-rap), it does show Mike Volpe hasn't reached his limit yet.
