Taking advantage of the temporary hiatus of Holy Fuck, one of the band members - Brian Borcherdt - has started a new musical adventure, Dusted, alongside producer Leon Taheny (Final Fantasy, Rituals, Bruce Peninsula). Hand Drawn Dracula and Polyvinyl will release their debut album, “Total Dust”, on 10th July. Judging from the teasers (listen to them below), and the advance track, “(Into The) Atmosphere”, it's clear that Dusted's sound, described as “melodic, sometimes haunting, and always clouded by a fuzzy glow”, is rather different from Holy Fuck.
