In August, shortly after their concert at Hyde Park in London as part of the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony, Blur released a high-definition recording of what was supposed to be their final performance. Now, Parlophone/EMI is releasing “Parklive” worldwide, in a deluxe edition. The release will be out on 4th December as a box set holding four CDs and a DVD, featuring the full Hyde Park gig, both audio and video (the performance was filmed by a twelve-strong team directed by Matthew Amos), a second concert recorded last summer at The 100 Club in London, and several live recordings of other recent gigs, including a set for the BBC. The discs will come in a hardcover book boasting sixty pages worth of photos.
We leave you with the trailer for the release after the jump. You can pre-order it following this link.
