After surprising us last year with his magnificent debut album on Rock Action Records, Benjamin John Power, half of Fuck Buttons, has signed with Software Records (the label directed by Daniel Lopatin) for a new release by his project Blanck Mass. We haven't heard the tracks yet, but according to the label, the two songs on “White Math / Polymorph” move away from ambient and venture into 90s analogue techno, more or less in the vein of big bands like Underworld, Orbital, and Leftfield. What we do know is that both tunes are up to 21 minutes long.
The digital version will be out soon. The 12" will ship near release date, July 31st. As soon as we get the audio, we'll let you know.
