Although Aster already appeared on different releases on Hivern Discs - such as the first “Nit D'Hivern”, as re-mixers of Kresy, or contributing a track to the “Jacking Tapes” - “Danza” is their first proper release on the label. The EP holds three analogue house tunes that oscillate between the insular vibes of “Assis”, the acid melancholy of “Lamento Castellano”, and the rave majesty of “Danza”. The pack is completed with an obsessive remix by Ital, who adds old school vocals and twists the track's soul with some abrasive bass lines.
The release is the first of a trilogy that will be completed in the months to follow. “Danza” is out now on 12” vinyl, with artwork by reputed designer Alex Trochut and based on the paper designs of Catalan artist Montse Buxó.
Here we leave you with the four tracks.
