Nobody can deny that the people of Adult Swim, apart from a good laugh, take good care of the music. In the wake of their “Singles Program” and their visual productions for artists like Flying Lotus, Holy Ghost! and Ford & Lopatin, the channel has hooked up with Scion A/ V to bring us “Unclassified”, a free compilation download featuring artists from the present British bass scene. And it's not exactly small fish on the track list, either. Among the eighteen tracks we can find pieces by such luminaries as Kode9, Lukid, SBTRKT, Actress, Zomby, Burial, Ikonika, Ginz and Pinch. But the best news is that most of the songs are previously unreleased or haven't been featured prominently anywhere until now. Check out the track list to the right and go here to download.
