Fashion company Miu Miu couldn’t resist the charms of Zola Jesus. After three previous short films in which the company gave the camera to three filmmakers to explore the “female love affair”, they have just premiered a fourth episode directed by Iranian-American Massy Tadjedin, titled “It’s Getting Late”. In the short film in question, which lasts just over eight minutes, we can see how Aubrey Plaza, Gemma Arterton, Patricia Clarkson and Rinko Kikuchi are getting ready to go out. Nevertheless, the most striking thing is the appearance of Zola Jesus, who not only does a cameo playing herself, but also lends two songs to the cause, “Ixode” and “Vessel”, remixed here by Clint Mansell, renowned soundtrack composer and former member of Pop Will Eat Itself.
