PlayGround Invites You To Rock En Seine

We’re raffling off tickets to the French festival

PlayGround Invites You To Rock En Seine | Music News

Few names are as respected among the French festivals as Rock en Seine. The Parisian classic will be held for the tenth time this year, with a rich, varied roster. The festival will be held on the 24th, 25th and 26th of August in its traditional location at Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, a historical park and garden located right next to Paris, only five minutes on foot from the Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud underground station.

This year, Rock En Seine will have four stages, where bands that we love here - like Sigur Rós, The Shins, Frank Ocean, Grimes, Beach House, Little Dragon, Passion Pit, Bombay Bicycle Club and Friends - will be performing. Along with them there will be veteran names such as The Waterboys, The Dandy Warhols and Deus, alongside headliners like Placebo, The Black Keys and Green Day.

Both day tickets (49 euros plus handling) and festival tickets (109 euros plus handling) are available through the channels detailed here. But as a friend of PlayGround’s, you might just be able to go for free.

Courtesy of the festival organiser, we have been allowed to raffle off 2 tickets for Rock en Seine 2012 to our readers. To sign up to win one, you can do one of two things: you can share this news on Twitter, or you can look for it in a few minutes on our Facebook page and press “I like it”. In both cases, you’ll have to send us an e-mail later confirming the action and your personal information (full name, ID or passport number) at the address tickets@playgroundmag.net. In the “subject” heading, you must specify “Rock en Seine Raffle”.

Update: the winners are Javier de la Higuera Vázquez and Maripaz Arenas Verdú.
