The first of the three dates that make up the overhauled 981festival will start tomorrow in Madrid. The 981Heritage SON Estrella Galicia will debut in Matadero Madrid with a roster that includes such attractive names as Actress, Kode9, Dean Blunt & Inga Copeland, Solar Bears, oOoOOO, Erika Spring from Au Revoir Simone, Mouse On Mars, Jeremy Greenspan from Junior Boys, Noaipre and Judah. Once it’s over in Madrid, 981Heritage SON Estrella Galicia will head for London to organise four evenings of music in November, within the framework of Spain Now! 2012. The location will be The Gallery Soho, an event venue measuring over 1800 square metres, located in the heart of the West End. Every night, an international producer will share the spotlight with a representative of the Spanish scene. Among those present will be Cooly G, Old Apparatus, Marcus Nasty and Dorian Concept. Some of the Spaniards are Barcelona’s Santiago Latorre and Galicians Mwëslee, David M and Judah.
