As a weapon against the urges of the leaking fan, Sigur Rós decided to get together followers and curious listeners for an online date where the music from “Valtari”, their new album, due out on 28th May on XL Recordings, can be listened to for the first time. This Thursday, 17thMay, at 7 pm (CET), it will be “Valtari Hour”. For one hour, the album can be heard on the band's website, in select record stores and on all the sites of radio stations associated with NPR. In exchange, the band is asking you to add the hashtag #valtarihour to all of your tweets during that hour.
