One week prior to the publication of “Elysium” - foreseen for this coming Tuesday, 11th September - Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe will be presenting a selection of their new songs tonight in Berlin. Specifically in HAU1, the largest, most illustrious of the three theatres that make up the Hebbel am Ufer complex, a real performing arts institution in the German capital. About this choice of location, Pet Shop Boys commented, “We wrote many of the songs on ‘Elysium’ in Berlin, so it seemed appropriate to perform them for the first time there.” The event, which will last about 30 minutes, will start at 9:00 pm sharp and can be followed online through ElectronicBeats.net and Muzu.tv.
