The title of the song invites one to think of pioneers, intrepid explorers attracted by who knows what force to the remote confines of our planet. We were hoping to see Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay dressed up as Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett in the video for “New Lands”, but it wasn’t meant to be. A teaser of the clip has come out, and that isn’t the way it goes. It’s about sports, what looks like a futuristic version of American football. And…. surprise! The video is recorded in Barcelona and the Canada production company is among those involved. Barely twenty seconds and a date to save: Wednesday, 11th July. That’s the day the video will premiere.
