Modular: The Documental

On the crest of the wave of renewed interest for modular synthesisers, the Scribble Media studio is now producing “Modular: The Documentary”, an exploration of the activities of musicians and sonic investigators who are specialists in the field. Directed by Robert Fantinatto, the work features a very extended list of participants, among which we find Gavin Russom, Morton Subotnick, Mark Verbos, Joel Chadabe, Sean McBride (alias Martial Cantarel) and Jason Amm (alias Solvent). The latter is also in charge of writing the soundtrack to the film. According to the Facebook group, they're now filming the testimonies of those living on the American East Coast, with the West Coast and Europe coming up. Check out the promo video below.
